Don’t go another school year with the same old boring lunches! It’s time to replace the basic PB&J and turkey sandwiches with fun and tasty brain boosting versions. Kids will love having something different, will have more energy, be more attentive in school and retain more information when they have a healthy, balanced lunch. Sounds like a win – win to me!

Here is a healthy version of the traditional turkey sandwich, Turkey Spinach Pinwheels. There are endless healthy options for wraps – everything from spinach, multigrain, or gluten free to low carb and high protein versions. Choose what’s right for your kiddos tastes and needs and fill it with spinach, turkey and cheese. Serve with sliced peppers or baby carrots, a healthy yogurt based ranch dressing for dipping and a handful of grapes for an easy and healthy lunch!

Turkey Spinach Pinwheels
Instructions
  1. Place spinach in the middle of the tortilla. Top with turkey and cheese.
  2. Roll the tortilla tightly until you reach the end.
  3. Use a sharp knife to slice into 3/4" slices.
  4. Enjoy!
