“I just can’t get motivated.” Or, “It’s so hard to stay motivated.” Sound familiar? I hear that constantly from my clients whether it is an adult trying for the umpteenth time to clean out an attic or from a student working on an English term paper. For them, it is less about disorganization or even time management and more about the desire and the will to begin or to keep going. So how do we teach motivation? That’s a tricky one. Here are some insights.
I love Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty!! It really is the ultimate fidget tool that can help relieve stress, enhance focus, inspire creativity and it is just plain fun to play with. You can squeeze it, stretch it, knead it, and tear it. It’s non-toxic, never dries out and comes in so many fun colors. Whether you are a student that benefits from fidgeting to help focus, or an adult in need of stress relief during the workday, you’ll love this product!

All individuals who show hyperactivity, inattention, and/or impulsivity do not have ADHD. Consider all behaviors before a diagnosis is made.
Joey has a hard time in the fourth grade. He is restless and has difficulty staying on task when doing work at his desk. His teacher complains that he daydreams a lot, and he frequently does not finish his classwork. During class discussions, though, he is focused and on task. He relates well to classmates, and plays games with friends at recess.
The beginning of the school year is exciting and hectic. Morning minutes skip by as outfits are chosen and book bags are re-checked for daily supplies. Does your child complain that they aren’t hungry in the morning or don’t have time to eat? Breakfast must be a part of your son or daughter’s morning routine.

I love these Stasher Bags for so many reasons! First, they are perfect for all ages, can be used for so many things and make back to school a breeze. Stasher bags are self-sealing, airtight, non-plastic bags that replace your typical plastic Ziploc baggies. Made of pure platinum silicone, they are a healthy alternative that’s safe for people and the planet. Best of all, Stasher can do so much more than ordinary plastic bags and containers. They can be used in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher! So whether you are packing sandwiches for school lunches, snacks for the car on the way to after school activities, or reheating leftovers for a quick dinner, these are the perfect, healthy solution!

Just about everyone has had the store bought snack mix, but truthfully the homemade version is so much better, and better for you! We’ve lightened up the original recipe by using coconut oil and have reduced the amount of salt – but definitely not the flavor. This is a great snack mix to pack for school or sports and the mix in options are endless.
I love these pancakes because they pack a protein punch without using any protein powder and are so simple to make. Top them with raspberries, strawberries and/or blueberries and a small drizzle of pure maple syrup and you have a healthy and filling breakfast!
